**Location of work**: Our team operates in a hybrid work environment, offering flexibility between working from the office and remotely. **These are your responsibilities**

Reporting to the Team Leader, Corporate Communications, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative plans for events. You will use your experience and expertise to make recommendations on the latest tools and platforms to support successful, engaging national and local events ranging from employee recognition awards to trade shows and high-level meetings.

You will collaborate effectively with a range of people internally and externally, teaming up with your colleagues in digital communications to develop appropriate messages and materials for events. You’ll produce presentations, develop metrics to evaluate success and deliver reports to support your work and engage stakeholders. In addition, you will be called upon to negotiate contracts for event services and manage logistics for these services whenever necessary.

As the bilingual Events Specialist, you will take a leadership role to ensure that last-minute snags are ironed out, and that events run smoothly on the day.

You will be responsible for selecting, buying and distributing corporate branded merchandise, including event-specific and milestone-related items.

You are adept at working with senior leaders to make sure they perform at their best. This includes making them comfortable at video shoots, supplying them with excellent speaking notes, and responding quickly and authoritatively to their questions and concerns before and during events.
