**About the Role**

**Responsible for supporting the management, preparation, administration, and directing the control of the budget for large and / or complex programs. Performs analyses and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and in accordance with accounting principles. Assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis. Conducts detailed financial analysis. Interprets and implements most proposal estimating, pricing and documentation requirements. Reviews and approves recommendations for financial planning and control. Monitors program adherence to approved budget.**

**Primary Responsibilities**
- **Lead, manage and develop team of Financial Analysts**

- **Key Business partner to Program Management, Bids & Proposals and Business Development**
***:

- **Partner with other teams and functions to develop strategies and best practices**
***:

- **Assess risk at enterprise level and develop action and mitigation plans**
***:

- **Manage the EAC process for Overtime Programs and ensure SOX compliance**
***:

- **Monitor and report on financial performance for Point in Time programs**
***:

- **Manage EVMS implementation and requirements on large programs where applicable**
***:

- **Responsible for the creation and accuracy of monthly reporting to support development of EACs**
***:

- **Partner with Program Managers to manage risks and opportunities by program and drive program performance**
***:

- **Manage internal and external review of programs**
***:

- **Review and approve monthly / quarterly program reporting**
***:

- **Review analysis of project WIP on a monthly basis to ensure program inventory is accurate**
***:

- **Review and approve project listings and details**
***:

- **Lead discussions with Senior management, regarding the financial performance of programs and product lines**
***:

- **Lead process development / improvement within department**
***:

- **Monthly analysis and reporting for Program Management reviews and adhoc presentations**
***:

- **Oversee the annual price book costing exercise and work with others in the organization to gain alignment and approvals on annual costing and new product / service offerings**

- **Developing pricing models to support and analyze financial decisions with respect to Long Term Agreements (LTA) with OEM’s. Act as the lead when requested for specific OEM LTA’s**:

- **Financial support and analysis (including PowerPoint creation) for major bids in preparation for WESCAM, Sector, Segment and Corporate Approvals**

**Desired Education and Experiences**
- **Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 7 years prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 5 years of prior related experience.**

- **CPA, CA, CMA, CGA Certification or equivalent experience**
***:

- **Experience in a large company environment with multiple subsidiaries, both Canadian and U.S. is an asset**
