**THE JOB**:Director, Facility Engagement**

The starting salary range falls within the minimum to mid-point of the salary range.

Starting Salary Range: $141,029 - $176,286

Reporting to the Vice President of the Specialist Services Committee (VP, SSC), the Director of Facility Engagement provides overall leadership, management, and budget oversight of the SSC’s Facility Engagement Initiative. As a key decision-maker, the role holds a high level of trust and responsibility, working with physicians, health authority leaders, and the Ministry of Health to advance the Physician Master Agreement’s Memorandum of Understanding on Regional and Local Engagement. The Director of Facility Engagement will collaborate with SSC, SCC and Strategic Initiatives, FPSC and Economics, Advocacy and Negotiations leaders to collaboratively deliver on the objectives of the SSC and Facility Engagement work plans, and Doctors of BC strategic plan.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Acts as the chief steward of the Facility Engagement work plan, leading strategic planning, program management and budget oversight to achieve the objectives of the Physician Master Agreement’s Memorandum of Understanding on Regional and Local Engagement and the Doctors of BC strategic plan.
- Acts as the staff lead of the SSC Facility Engagement Working Group, which is comprised of Doctors of BC physician representatives and Ministry of Health and health authority representatives and provides provincial governance of the Facility Engagement Initiative including annual work plan approvals, funding approvals, and input into key program priorities.
- Provides strategic leadership on program development, evaluation, operations, funding policies, issue management, and relationship management with physicians and health authorities.
- Collaborates strategically with SSC, SCC and Strategic Initiatives, FPSC and Economics, Advocacy and Negotiations leaders to advance the objectives of the SSC and Facility Engagement work plans, and Doctors of BC strategic plan.
- Partners with SSC staff to strengthen collaboration between SSC initiatives and portfolios within a cohesive strategy that advances SSC’s mandate and brings a specialty care system lens to decision-making within the organization.
