**Responsibilities**:
- Provide counseling and support services to individuals and families in need
- Conduct informal assessments to determine clients' needs and develop appropriate care plans
- Collaborate with other Centre mental health professionals to provide individuals and families with a supportive and holistic experience
- Create and facilitate counselling groups for children and adults
- Advocate for clients to access necessary resources and services
- Assist front end staff with social media/blog topics related to counselling
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
- Stay informed about current social work practices and trends
**Skills**:
- Experience working with children and adults in various settings
- Knowledge of clinical social work practices
- Familiarity with running groups
- Strong patient client skills
- Understanding of clinical counselling terminology
**Compensation**
- One year contract with option to renew based on performance and client caseload
- Hourly rate or fee splitting dependant on number of hours and experience
- Welness program with HSA for those working a set number of hours/shifts per week
