**Job purpose**

The Administrator, Sports Programs is a supporting member of the Skate Ontario sport department responsible for aiding with the execution of Provincial and Podium Pathway Skate Ontario sports programming. This will include the planning and execution, communication, and monitoring of Provincial/Podium Pathway programming, specializing in synchronized skating, ideally with knowledge of ice dance, directed to clubs and skating schools. This position will bring a positive, consistent, and best in class approach to all stakeholders involved in Skate Ontario programming.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Support the Manager, Podium Pathways and Coordinator, Provincial Programs with administrative duties as required
- Support the delivery of synchronized skating programming and development opportunities in the following program areas:

- STAR 1-5
- Learn to Train
- Train to Train
- Train to Compete
- Train to Win (supporting Skate Canada High Performance)
- Active for Life
- Support, and execute communications with synchronized teams, managers, and coaches
- Support, and execute monitoring and feedback opportunities for Provincial, National, and International competitive teams training in Ontario
- Support synchronized skating teams at provincial and national competitions
- Execute day-to-day communications with Member clubs and skating schools related to synchronized skating development programs
- Utilize on-line software programs and tools to support the development of the sport through score tracking
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
- Track NCCP (National Coaching Certification Program) coach qualification status
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications and experience**
- 2+ years' experience in team skating development (synchronized skating, pairs, ice dance)
- Experience in working within established budgets and tracking expenses
- Experience with administrative support in an organization
- Experience with executing events (Monitoring Sessions, Seminars and/or Training Camps)
- Additional experience preferred but not mandatory:_
- NCCP Coach in good standing with Skate Canada or in official's pathway
- Multi-sport/discipline experience

**Working conditions**
- Hybrid office and home-based work environment
- Expected to be available during operational hours outlined by Skate Ontario
- Travel will be required at various times of the year to meet the needs of the business
- Extended hours on evenings and weekends will be required at times to meet the needs of the business
- Must have use of a vehicle and a valid driver’s licence
- Ability to coach in this position to be discussed in interview process
