**Qualifications**:
**University graduation** in Political Science, Social Science, Health Science, plus a minimum of progressively **two (2) **of progressively responsible related experience in policy development, and strategic planning; or equivalent as described below.

**Equivalency**:

- 1 year of education for 1 year of experience; or
- 1 year of experience for 1 year of education

**Required experience**:

- Experience developing or working on complex policy issues
- Experience managing projects or programs
- Experience preparing and/or reviewing policy analysis, options and recommendations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstration of creative and innovative approaches
- Experience working with senior management level

The following is considered an **asset**:

- General understanding of health system structures, programs, policies
- Experience working in public sector Experience working with stakeholders to develop shared outcomes; including facilitation, consultation, consultation building and conflict managementA **cover letter** outlining how your experience relates to the qualifications of this role is **required**.

This competition will be used to staff multiple full-time permanent positions.

**Hours of Work**
7.25 hours daily/ 36.25 hours weekly, Monday to Friday

**Location**
ATB Place North, Edmonton, Alberta. This position requires working from the office with an option to qualify for a hybrid work arrangement (in accordance with GOA policy).
