**Short Summary**:
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Associate provides support to e the Real Estate and Corporate (“REC”) Human Resources (HR) department.

The incumbents’ key responsibilities include recruitment and selection, training and development, HRIS and payroll and benefits administration.

**RECRUITMENT AND SELECTION**
- Manages the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and acts as the primary administrator for REC.
- Provides technical support and leads troubleshooting efforts within the ATS, as needed
- Conducts full cycle recruitment for REC roles, excluding Director level and above.
- Act as a point of contact with recruitment firm(s) and prepared necessary documentation in accordance with the Company Policy.
- Assists HR Manager with additional recruitment tasks, as required.

**TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT**
- Conducts onboarding / orientation program for new hires or promotions.
- In conjunction with the HR Manager, annually reviews the orientation program making recommendations for improvements based on updated policies, procedures and legislation and changes in the company culture.

**HRIS AND PAYROLL FUNCTIONS**
- Manages timely HRIS data import and approval process for all employee changes, including new hires, terminations, status changes, promotions, and salary updates.
- Manages the attendance tracking program through WFN; including initial set up, assigning entitlements and troubleshooting any issues that may arise with WFN and with employees.
- Liaises with the Payroll department regarding any employee updates.

**RECORDS AND REPORTS**
- Supports, gathers and consolidates HR information for the quarterly Board of Directors’ meetings, including assisting with Committee meetings, Board reports & HR statistical data, PowerPoint presentations, and all related correspondence.
- Assists the HR department with confidential data tracking and various statistical analysis.

**BENEFITS ADMINISTRATION**
- Administers all benefit plans and EFAP Programs for REC employees, including executive level.
- Completes all required benefit changes within REC, including new hire enrollment forms, terminations and other employment updates impacting benefit entitlements, and submits to appropriate contact in all applicable benefit software systems.
- Serves as contact and resource for current and former employees, fielding questions and resolving issues pertaining to all benefit programs.
- Communicates all required benefit information (ex. premiums, taxable benefits) to Payroll.
- Audits, tracks and processes benefit invoices to ensure accuracy of billing and enable timely approvals/payments to vendors; stablishes templates to enable auditing and processing efficiencies.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary degree or diploma, or equivalent experience required.
- A minimum of three years of Human Resources experience required.
- Proficiency with an HRIS and Applicant Tracking System is preferred
- Bilingualism (English / French) required.

**Working Conditions**:

- Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, conflicting demands, frequent interruptions, and heavy work loads.- Working in an office environment.- Light to infrequently moderate physical effort; Requires handling of light and moderate weight objects including office equipment and other office supplies.WHAT WE DO
