**Regional Director of Wellness / Yardi EHR Support**

**6 Month Contract (Possibility of extension or permanent)**

Reporting to the Director Of Operations, the Regional Director of Wellness is responsible for ensuring the effective delivery and sustainability of nursing programs, training, development, and quality within the retirement residences under their oversight. They are tasked with implementing policies and programs to uphold standards and comply with applicable legislation.

This position will be focused on assisting our Retirement properties with Yardi EHR implementation alongside the Yardi implementation team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Training and Education**_**:
Ø Support the professional practice of nursing teams within the retirement residences.

Ø Educate, orient, coach, mentor, and support frontline nursing teams through collaboration with home leadership teams and regional directors of operations.

Ø Deliver education on programs, initiatives, policies, and procedures consistently.

Ø Assist in implementing new programs and updating existing ones.

Ø Provide innovative suggestions to minimize resistance to change and facilitate smooth implementation.

Ø Orient, coach, and mentor new nursing managers/leaders and provide professional consultation for their development.

Ø Assist local Wellness teams with YARDI EHR support.
- **Compliance and Risk Management**_**:
Ø Promote compliance with regulatory requirements and standards in nursing practices.

Ø Ensure appropriate security levels and access authorities are maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Ø Follow up on high-risk issues and support homes in meeting regulatory requirements.

Ø Uphold and promote values, ethics, morality, and integrity.
- **Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI)**:_

Ø Ensure effective operation and continuous quality improvement (CQI) of nursing services.

Ø Manage CQI and accreditation programs in accordance with standards and regulatory requirements.

Ø Represent the organization's interests in interactions with external stakeholders.

Ø Facilitate quality improvement through program reviews, audits, and data analysis.

Ø Monitor and analyze performance indicators and adverse events.

Ø Foster a culture of innovation to improve nursing and psw practices.

Ø Coordinate research, abstracts, and conference submissions within the designated region.

**Other Duties**:
Ø Liaise with regional representatives of national contracts.

Ø Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business.

**Requirements**:
Ø Minimum five (5) years of senior management experience in a retirement home setting.

Ø Experience in using data to drive decisions and translating policies into practice.

Ø Proficiency in gerontology, continuous quality improvement, research, adult learning, and change management.

Ø Experience with YARDI EHR is mandatory.

Ø Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ø Ability to reason analytically and conceptually before taking action.

Ø Willingness to travel and possession of a valid driver’s license.

Ø Current registration as an RN/RPN with the Provincial licensing body.

Ø RN/BScN or RPN with continuing education in gerontology, nursing administration, rehabilitation, retirement home management, or equivalent.

Ø Current CPR certification.

Pay: $80,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
