**Program Coordinator and Quality Assurance Resource, Centre for Teaching and Continuing Learning**:
**Required Position**:
Full -Time Appointment

**Responsibilities**:
Working as part of the CTCL team, within the Quality Assurance unit, the Program coordinator and Quality Assurance Resource will use a learning-centred approach to provide bilingual and tricultural support to academic units in the external IQAP and Accreditation processes, as well as internal CELP, CPF and ACAPLAN approval processes at Laurentian University. This position is also responsible for updating and using the syllabus generator content to support departments with curriculum mapping for IQAP and Accreditation program review purposes. In addition, this position will support faculty in the integration of AODA compliance into curriculum development for both on-campus and online programming.
- Assist faculty in developing/updating curriculum and curriculum mapping;
- Provide individual support to academic units and faculty members with the IQAP and Accreditation process;
- Assist department chairs with curriculum mapping for IQAP and Accreditation review purposes;
- Support faculty in the creation of learning outcomes for courses and programs undergoing CELP, CPF and ACAPLAN approval;
- Develop curriculum mapping templates as per IQAP and accreditation guidelines;
- Develop accessibility guidelines for both on-campus and online courses;
- In line with AODA compliance guideline and the new Laurentian University policy on Academic Accommodation for Students with Disabilities, develop accessibility guidelines for both on-campus and online courses (both in the development and the delivery of course materials);
- Integrate accessibility guidelines into curriculum development for both on-campus and online courses and programs;
- Work in collaboration with the Accessibility Office and the Equity, Diversity, and Human Rights Office to increase awareness of AODA guidelines through workshops and consultation with faculty members.

**Qualifications**:

- Undergraduate degree (4 years) in a relevant discipline;
- One (1) to three (3) years of experience in an educational setting;
- Sound knowledge of curriculum development at a postsecondary level;
- Sound knowledge of IQAP and Accreditation processes;
- In-depth knowledge of course and program approval process at CELP, CPF and ACAPLAN;
- In-depth knowledge of accessibility issues and the AODA legislation;
- Ability to works as part of a team and contribute knowledge and experience in a respectful manner;
- Excellent presentation skills and a keen interest in sharing knowledge through workshops;
- Excellent record-keeping and data tracking skills;
- Ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines;
- Ability to work independently and show initiative;
- Oral and written competency in both official languages (French and English) is required.

The official University hours of operation shall be from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, during, and including, the months from September to April, and from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m Monday through Friday during and including May to August., amounting to thirty-three and three-quarter (33.75) hours per week.
