**Your role?**

Alongside the VP & CFO, your responsibilities and challenges will be numerous and very stimulating. We are looking for the person that will take the reins of the department, someone of trust who will work closely with yes the CFO, but also with all other member of the management team. We are looking for a positive leader to promote our values, some who will like to be accountable for their work and will take responsibilities for the team. Given that iFinance is a finance company, this team is at the center of every decision taken, at the center of the operations and it represents a pillar when beginning a new project.

You will be responsible for the daily management of the accounting team in Toronto, which is made up of 6 professionals. All of the required tasks we can expect from this type of role will be part of the daily tasks. However, because of your strategic position within the company, it will be much more than that:

- Being responsible for accounting and monthly financial statements
- Understanding in depth each accounting processes
- Understanding the securitization process, reporting and relationship with financial partners
- Monitoring cash and collaborating in cash management for the Group
- Supporting the team under your supervision
- Improving the processes in place
- Participating in the implementation of the new technology iFinancePay, an online solution for our clients
- In the near future, implementing a new accounting system, highly intertwined with the admin system that will be changed too.
- Actively participate to the strategic planning and budgeting process

You will actively participate in the training of your team members to ensure the department is running effectively, that the processes are efficient, and that the right people are being trained to grow within the business, which will also elevate your own position over the months.

**What we are looking for**:

- Experience in team coaching
- Strong leadership and team work capacity
- Knowledge of the full accounting cycle
- Finance and lending basic knowledge
- IFRS and securitization process (an asset)
