We are currently looking for a proactive and skilled Procurement & Customer Contract Manager with strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills to join our team.

The Procurement & Customer Contracts Manager is responsible for leading the procurement operations for all Yurek divisions/locations. They are the liaison for our strategic external partnerships and are the key point of contact for managing our customer contracts and external partners. This is a centralized position with companywide accountability to define the department structure, team, and roles to support the strategic goals and plans for Yurek. The Procurement & Customer Contracts Manager will utilize their expert knowledge and experience in planning, forecasting, trend analysis, contract negotiation, implementation of procurement and practices and policies to ensure the most effective processes are in place to support operations.

**The responsibilities for the Procurement & Customer Contracts Manager will include**:

- Lead and oversee a team of buyers, planners, and other employees in inventory management functions ensuring effective workload distribution and fostering collaboration.
- Act as the first point of contact for escalated purchasing issues, promoting swift resolution.
- Develop and nurture strong partnerships with suppliers, external partners, and customers managing cost, quality, and overall performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the purchasing, planning and inventory functional process.
- Assist in the implementation of appropriate sourcing strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
- Execute demand planning for predefined categories, ensuring timely and budget-conscious inventory acquisition.
- Collaborate with inventory management and sales teams to optimize warehouse efficiencies.
- Manages inventory and reconciles with financial and operational systems
- Collaborates with Operations and department leads to Create and manage supplier contracts, monitoring supplier performance to contract terms and conditions and reduce exposure to risk factors.
- Performance Metrics: Maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) that are required by the customer as well as those used to determine departmental effectiveness. Develop reporting mechanisms to track and measure the performance of purchasing practices of Yurek
- Hire, onboard, develop, counsel, and coach leadership and non-leadership personnel to ensure their own development and the success of their teams.
- Continuously identify, lead, and implement projects, initiatives, and learnings to improve the overall department performance through leveraging Lean Six Sigma, Technology, Change Management, and other best practices.
- Perform other duties as required

**Job Requirements**:

- 10+ years’ experience in procurement environment in a leadership capacity
- CPIM or CPP designations or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration (preferred)
- Have user expertise in Enterprise Resource Planning IT system (ideally Microsoft Dynamics)
- Experience in negotiating pricing, contract terms and conditions including statements of work (SOW)
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets.
- Demonstrated record of successful cost reduction and operational efficiency
- Experience managing projects from source to implementation.
- Understanding of the contingent workforce spend category and potential cost levers and market fundamentals.
- Strong experience in communication and senior stakeholder management skills supported by strong communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated creative and innovative approach to problem solving
- Demonstrated history of proactivity within challenging or ambiguous situations
- Skill with influencing internal and external stakeholders, including executive management, to achieve the initiative objectives.
- Experience working in the pharmaceutical, healthcare industry
- Understanding of HIPAA and importance of privacy of patient data
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
