Senior Manager of Indirect Procurement

Volkswagen Group Canada Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager Indirect Procurement to join our team in St. Thomas, ON.
Job Summary:We are looking for a seasoned procurement professional to lead our indirect procurement efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving raw material supply security for our cell factory in St. Thomas, while also driving cost optimization and strategic category management.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the IT & Innovation Hub purchasing team to identify innovative purchasing solutions and drive business growth.
- Develop and execute strategies to maximize value for cost, including leading the PowerCo's strategic cost saving initiative Forum Service Kosten (FSK).
- Manage procurement of all goods and services within area of responsibility, ensuring compliance with all PowerCo and VW Group policies and requirements.
- Represent PowerCo at important purchasing and industry functions, developing and executing strategy aligned to business needs.
- Demonstrated strategic and innovative leadership, with proven management expertise.
- Successful experience leading and developing procurement and cross-functional teams in large-scale organizations.
- Extensive experience managing multimillion-dollar projects from a procurement perspective.
- Strong negotiation skills, with a track record of securing favorable outcomes.
- Professionalism and adaptability in managing supplier relationships and internal stakeholders.
