Our facilities specialize in precision CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication and coating. We are AS9100 Rev C certified. With a continued investment in cutting-edge machinery, we are looking for operators to match. This CNC Setup position will report to the Supervisor of the Machining Department and will be responsible for the setup and operation of 3 and 5-axis CNC machines by performing the following duties.
**Position Summary**:
EM Dynamics Inc is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Specialist with a special focus on employee engagement, organization, onboarding, health/safety, and other common day-to-day HR related tasks. This role will play a pivotal role in creating a positive and inclusive workplace culture, ensuring employee satisfaction, and driving organizational success.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement employee engagement strategies to foster a positive work environment and enhance employee satisfaction and productivity.
- Collaborate with management to identify and address employee concerns, ensuring a proactive approach to resolving issues.
- Create, coordinate and conduct onboarding programs for new hires, ensuring a smooth and effective integration into the company.
- Oversee the organization and maintenance of employee records, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and confidentiality.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, screening resumes and conducting interviews.
- Develop and implement health and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Establish health and safety committee to schedule and conduct quarterly meetings to ensure that all employees are acting in accordance to protocols and that the facility, machines and infrastructure are proactively managed to meet all health/safety requirements
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Assist in the implementation and deployment of employee training and development programs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in employee engagement, organization, and HR management.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar HR role, with a focus on employee engagement and organization
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws and regulations
- Proven experience in developing and implementing employee engagement initiatives
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
**Salary**: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
