OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE As a Security Analyst, you will play a critical role in monitoring systems, investigating log anomalies, responding to alerts, and initiating the triage and investigation process during non-office hours. This position requires a high level of expertise in SOC operations, incident response, and a willingness to work specified shift hours.

**KEY RESPOSIBILITES**:

- Monitor security systems for breaches and suspicious activity.
- Investigate log anomalies and respond to alerts promptly.
- Initiate triage and perform initial defensive actions.
- Start the investigation process for potential security incidents.
- Collaborate with the SOC team to ensure comprehensive coverage and timely response to threats.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of incidents and actions taken.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATION**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Security Operations Center (SOC) or Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in incident response.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work the specified hours.

**SHIFT HOURS**:

- March to October: 6-8 AM and 5-9 PM Atlantic Time
- November to February: 5-8 AM and 5-8 PM Atlantic Time

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATION**:

- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or similar.
- Experience with various security tools and technologies.
- Understanding of global cybersecurity threats and trends.
