** Technology Programs Assistant** with our client for a
**6-month contract **opportunity.

**Role Description**:
This resource will support the Technology Support Team is looking for a technology program assistant to support with the day-to-day activities for HP Tech. Reporting to the Manager, of Technology Programs, the Technology Programs Assistant is responsible for assisting with coordinating programs that offer strategic services to the non-profit (NP) housing sector. He/She/They acts as the first point of contact for Housing Providers’ IT-related questions, assists with the coordination of the delivery of non-profit technology advisory services, promotes Cybersecurity and Privacy awareness, and helps manage and maintain non-profit technology toolkits.

The role will filter through requests that come into the team and will help coordinate the next steps; virtual meeting, coordinating with a 3rd party vendor, flagging the VP of IMT, etc. As we launch an internal program titled PartnerHub, this role will assist with one of the areas of feedback requested from the nonprofits, providing recommendations, and generating training packages or best practices, among other things. The position maintains training programs and organizes and executes educational events

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide coordination support for meetings with external vendors - booking, meeting minutes, post-meeting actions, etc.
- Manages and maintains tools and toolkits to assist partner organizations in the assessment of their information technology (IT) environments.
- Identifies applicable internal resources and manages projects applicable and beneficial to the Non-profits.
- Gathers relevant data, and prepares documents and summaries for review, analysis, and recommendation by the Director and/or CIO.
- Assists with organizing events to deliver the training plan, which includes coordinating logistics and arrangements for venues, ensuring materials are prepared, and other supporting needs.
- Conducts research and evaluation of new technologies, develop proposals for purchase, and coordinates the procurement process to provide goods and services to product providers.
- Research and review consultants and vendors for non-profit societies to grow the current roster list.
- Ability to wipe and set devices to factory settings for deployment in the sector.
- Generation and documentation of Dynamics cases.
- Assist with the delivery of group training, both in person and remotely.
- Proactive monitoring an inbox and requests for the team.
- Document current procedures and policies.
- Liaises and Consults with non-profit societies and internal members to ensure elements within our clients' PartnerHub are accurate and on time.
- Inventory Management of computer hardware and software assets.

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge and demonstrated experience analyzing business requirements, and researching best practices to address business needs.
- Knowledge and demonstrated experience supporting Microsoft client and server operating systems.
- Advanced and progressive computer software skills in MS Office.
- Organizational skills and the ability to set priorities and manage conflicting demands.
- Ability to work under pressure and within tight timelines.
- Be able to work independently and as a member of a larger Technology team.
- Project planning skills and demonstrated experience in the development of project goals and objectives, working plans and timelines, and well as coordination of efforts to implement project plans.
- Basic facilitation skills and demonstrated experience facilitating project planning, problem-solving, priority setting, and implementation with a small task group.
- Advanced computer skills and experience with Microsoft 365 Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Results-oriented with strong people and time management skills, highly organized, motivated, and driven to succeed.
- Experience building meaningful relationships with the team, other internal departments, and vendors.
- Experience with generating training and providing live sessions.
- Experience with Articulate 360 and RISE - the ability to create and edit video modules.
- Experience working in the public sector.
