**Working at Fanshawe College**Note**: This is a full-time temporary Administrative position (37.5 hours per week) until June 30, 2025.- The Associate Registrar, Student Communications is responsible for:
- Relationship management with stakeholders and partners of strategic importance.
- Writing and editing targeted communications to support strategic initiatives.
- Liaising with colleagues across the College to ensure consistent and/or integrated messaging.
- Keeping well-informed on social media trends, technologies and best practices.
- Tracking and monitoring digital communications activities.
- Analyzing the effectiveness of campaigns and/or programs using metrics.
- Analyzing procedures, practices and/or editorial standards and recommending changes for improvement.
**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary 4-year degree in Communications, Business Administration, Public Administration, Public Relations or related degree
- Minimum 5 years’ of demonstrated experience in leading teams, communications principles in higher education, information management, and student service best practices
- An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered; preference will be given to applicants meeting the education requirements
- Education/training in job specific areas such as client service best practice or student relationship management technology, project management, statistical analysis related to qualitative and quantitative service satisfaction
- Conversant with government and College policies and programs
- Increasing levels of relevant supervisory/leadership responsibility, preferably in an educational setting
