We are currently recruiting for a Dietary Planner to become part of our talented and committed team at North London Children’s Centre

**Permanent position**
**Commencing April 2024**
**6 hours per day, Monday - Friday**

***Qualifications**:

- Safe Food Handling Certification
- Understanding of Canada’s Food Guide
- Minimum two years’ experience in food preparation for children from 18 months to 12 years of age
- Standard First Aid with CPR for Infant and Child - Level C
- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check (6 months current)

**The person we are looking for has**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work creatively within a set budget
- Ability to work effectively as a team member
- Excellent time management and organizational skills

**Position responsibilities**:

- To plan well balanced menus on a rotational basis
- To purchase food supplies to meet the needs of the menus
- To maintain accurate purchasing records
- To prepare and serve nutritious and delicious meals and snacks, accommodating dietary restrictions as required
- To maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment at all times
- To liaise with Dietary Planners in other Children’s Centres within LCC
- To maintain professionalism, confidentiality and courtesy at all times
