We are currently recruiting for Dietary Planners to become part of our talented and committed team to work with our Children’s Centres currently and for this summer.

If you are committed to working as part of a team and sharing your culinary skills, we might be the place for you

**Monday through Friday, or as needed for Supply Positions**
**Various Children’s Centres throughout London**
**6.5 to 8 Hours per day, which includes a half hour unpaid break**

**Qualifications**:

- Safe Food Handling Certification
- Understanding of Canada’s Food Guide
- Minimum two years’ experience in food preparation for children from 18 months to 4 years of age preferred
- Standard First Aid with CPR for Infant and Child - Level C (we can help you get this)
- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check (6 months current)

**The person we are looking for**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work creatively within a budget
- Ability to work effectively as a team member
- Ability to adapt to different kitchens and menu plans

**Position responsibilities**:

- To plan well balanced menus on a rotational basis
- To purchase food supplies to meet the needs of the menus
- To maintain accurate purchasing records
- To prepare and serve nutritious and delicious meals and snacks
- To maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment at all times
- To liaise with Dietary Planners in other Children’s Centres within LCC
- To maintain professionalism, confidentiality and courtesy at all times
