We are currently recruiting for Dietary Planners to become part of our talented and committed team to work with our Children’s Centres as supply staff covering as needed.

**Monday through Friday**
**Various Children’s Centres throughout London**
**6.5 to 8 Hours per day, which includes a half hour unpaid break**
**Qualifications**:
- Safe Food Handling Certification
- Understanding of Canada’s Food Guide
- Minimum two years’ experience in food preparation for children from 18 months to 4 years of age preferred
- Standard First Aid with CPR for Infant and Child - Level C (we can help you get this)
- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check (6 months current)
**The person we are looking for**:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work creatively within a budget
- Ability to work effectively as a team member
- Ability to adapt to different kitchens and menu plans
**Position responsibilities**:
- To follow menus and instructions provided by the regular Dietary Planner in their absence
- To be aware of children’s allergies and dietary restrictions and follow plans that have been shared
- To prepare and serve nutritious and delicious meals and snacks
- To maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment at all times following LCC and MLHU guidelines
- To work with and communicate with Program Coordinators and Child Centre educators on site
- To liaise with Dietary Planners in other Children’s Centres within LCC as needed
- To maintain professionalism, confidentiality and courtesy at all times
