Cook/dietary Planner

London, Canada Bright Beginnings Early Childhood Centre Full time

Bright Beginnings is a non-profit childcare organization that provides care for up to 56 children. The cook will provide nutritionally balanced meals and snacks following all guidelines. The position will also plan and implement a five-week rotating menu, maintain a safe, organized kitchen and maintain open communication with the rest of the team. You will be able to meet individual needs of children (special diets due to allergies, lifestyle), have great time management skills and ensure proper storage and handling of food. You will be responsible for cleaning/sanitizing your work area and equipment. You will also order food, complete weekly grocery shopping and work within a budget.

You will be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs and there will be prolonged standing.

At a minimum you will have your Food Handler Certificate, First Aid and C.P.R training, a valid G drivers license, be the owner of a vehicle with valid insurance.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00-$17.50 per hour
