**Type**: Full Time (Permanent) (Monday to Friday with Occasional Weekends as required)

CMI Solar, a premier provider of solar energy solutions, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Energy Solutions Specialist to join our team.
**Position Summary**:
**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Develop a strong knowledge of our company’s products and services as well as serve as a technical professional and provide guidance and knowledge on solar technologies
- Develop, present, and identify how our products and services can support our commercial clients by understanding their energy needs, goals, etc.
- Assess and analyze current energy consumption and propose comprehensive solutions
- Overcome objections of potential clients in a charismatic and energetic manner
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Ensure client data and relevant sales information is accurately created and stored using our CRM
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers and internal team to engineer solar energy solutions based on client needs, generating detailed proposals, cost estimates and expected ROIs as well as other relevant information (i.e. timelines)
- Other responsibilities as required
**Qualifications**
**Experience**:
- 3 years Commercial solar energy project management and system design
- 3 years in sales experience (B2B space) with a proven track record in achieving targets and KPIs
- 3 years in customer service experience
**Education and Certifications**:
- Diploma and/or Degree in relevant discipline preferred (Engineering, Renewable Energy, Etc.)
- Valid Drivers License
**Knowledge and Skills**:
- Strong negotiation skills
- Reliable and Punctual
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proven communication skills both verbal and written
- Critical thinking, problem solving and reasoning skills to analyze and interpret information
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, colleagues, external partners, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all stakeholders
- Experience using Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Multi-tasking, time management, planning and organizing
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
**Salary**: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
