Donor Relations and Community Engagement Manager

Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Donor Relations and Community Engagement Manager to join our team. This role will manage the donor development and relations activities for the Foundation such as outreach, events, and database management. In addition, community engagement will be part of the role including managing our annual Vital Signs report program, capacity building for charities and other activities in the community.
**Responsibilities**:
- Identify, cultivate, and steward relationships with West Vancouver Foundation’s supporters to increase visibility, impact, and financial resources
- Manage and present at various events throughout the year
- Manage the community engagement programs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3-6 years of previous donor development, relations, fundraising, communications, relationship management and/or other relevant experience
- Non-profit experience, either as staff or volunteer capacity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and an ability to tailor communication style based on audience.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized self-starter able to work independently, set and meet goals and deadlines.
- Strong computer and software skills including CRM, PowerPoint, and MS Office.
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills; ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
- Project management skills.
- Strong public speaking skills and experience.

The position is in the office, in West Vancouver, and is based on a 60% working schedule. There are some events outside of office hours (2-4 per month), therefore some flexibility in schedule is required. Applicants should live on the North Shore or be very familiar with West Vancouver.
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: $42,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 22.5 per week
