Monarch Child & Family Therapy is looking for a psychotherapist, counsellor, or therapist with a Master's degree in counselling psychology, play therapy or marriage and family therapy. Monarch Child & Family Therapy provides services to children, adolescents, adults and families as well as educational and consultative services to parents and professionals from an attachment and trauma-based lens. We take a collaborative, strengths-based approach and take pride in being client-focused.

Due to high volume of referrals, we are expanding and in need of at least one, if not more, therapists to join the team. We are offering a flexible schedule with an online booking system in a newly renovated therapy space that includes a waiting area, children's therapeutic play space, comfortable therapy space and a shared office space located in Charleswood.

Services of the successful therapist will be on a contractual basis and will perform as an autonomous mental health practitioner in a collaborative setting. The position may be tailored to varying specialties and experiences.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Completed Master's degree in Social Work, Counselling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or equivalent required
- Hold a professional license in Manitoba with liability insurance
- Provide a Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector), Adult & Child Abuse Registry Checks
- Strong knowledge of key treatment modalities related to children, adolescents, adults and families; willing to consider specific areas of specialization such as eating disorders, co-parenting and divorce, couples counselling, etc.
- More than 2 years of therapy-related experience preferred
- Active participation as a team member in case reviews/consults as well as client referrals
- Ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills and work collaboratively with others
- Skills and experience working with diverse populations
