Planview Utility Services Ltd is an engineering firm that provides engineering design, sub-surface investigation and geographical information related services to telecommunication companies and electric utilities. Our workforce is a mix of veterans of the industry and youthful enthusiastic technical resources. **The Position**

**Responsibilities**

As a Project Manager you will:

- Lead a group of up to six project coordinators through a variety of project types throughout the telecom space
- Create, communicate and manage resource and financial budgets of the teams projects
- Be client forward facing communicating regularly project status to various stake-holders
- Detailed planning and implementation of project schedules through cross functional resource teams both day to day as well as long term programs
- Work with cross functional departments to collaborate on executing projects in a cost effective and timely manner
- Provide detailed technical support to project teams on related technologies, processes governed by various stakeholders
- Own the portfolio from a project succession and staffing position. Work to improve processes and seeks out efficiencies
- Provide detailed financial and scheduling reports to senior staff at regular intervals
- Be heavily involved in business development, contract negotiations, and client management
- Other tasks as required

**Specific Requirements of the position**
- Minimum 5 years experience in a telecommunication / utility design or other civil role.
- Proven track record of building strong professional relationships. Past experience working in fast paced environment fostering and maintain contacts with stakeholders and clients alike
- Working knowledge of fiber / telecommunication systems and plant such as FTTH/HFC and WISP deployments
- Accredited post secondary education in engineering or related field
- 3+ years of experience leading cross functional teams, managing both project delivery and financial benchmarks
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must have a personal vehicle, valid Ontario driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout the province
- C.E.T or E.I.T designation considered an asset.
- Familiar with industry codes, engineering practices, standards and construction methods.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office productivity software.

**The Location**

Planview Utility Services has 3 offices - Markham, London and Ottawa. Our clients and their projects are based thought the province. The location for this position is either our London or Markham office. Travel is to be expected within the province up to 25% of the time
