The log and lumber sales coordinator is responsible for managing the sales and distribution of logs and lumber products to various customers. The coordinator works closely with the sales, production, transportation, and accounting departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders. The coordinator also maintains and updates the inventory records, customer database, and sales reports.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and process customer orders, invoices, and payments
- Communicate with customers and suppliers to confirm order details, delivery dates, and prices
- Monitor and track the status of orders and shipments
- Resolve any issues or complaints related to orders, deliveries, or quality
- Prepare and analyze sales reports and forecasts
- Maintain and update the inventory records and customer database
- Assist with the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies
- Quickly resolving issues pertaining to export issues so that trucks or vessels can clear customs (minutes, not hours)
- Perform other related duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software such as Netscale or LIMS
- Knowledge of log and lumber products, markets, and industry standards including; provincial log advertisement requirements, export permitting, letters of credit and custom documentation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

TRAINING, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years of experience in log and lumber sales or related field.
- Compensation will be reflective of experience

This job could be performed remotely for the right individual/experience. Office space is available on Haida Gwaii or North Vancouver,

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
