Team Lead Analytics

Our Digital Marketing Data and Analytics team is looking for a Team Lead to support us in managing and developing the analytics and data visualization team. We are looking for someone passionate about data and analytics, curious and resourceful to support our Marketing teams.
As a Team Lead, you join and manage a young, dynamic, passionate, and dedicated team. You will have the chance to benefit from a variety of expertise to support you in your work, improve your knowledge and continue developing your expertise. You will be asked to share your knowledge and expertise in terms of analytics and data visualization with your colleagues. You will also be asked on occasion by your colleagues to collaborate on other projects.
**YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO**:
Lead, develop and supervise employees under your team.
Ensure all team management tasks are properly completed (e.g., team performance review, clear team goals communication, conflicts resolving if needed, team skills development and identifying areas of improvement, workload management, etc.).
Participate to the definition and the execution of the Data & Analytics team roadmap and vision.
Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
Coordinate data integration activities with technical experts.
Collaborate with the data steward and technical experts to ensure proper data management and quality.
Manage access to various reports and dashboards.
Ability to build and run a clear vision of her/his team in terms of analytics and data visualization.
Support the immediate team in all other analysis tasks or projects.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a data analysis or dashboard development function, including relevant experience in team management.
Engineer, Master’s or PhD degree in a relevant field (computer science, marketing, statistics, mathematics).
Proven experience in report creation and visualization (data import, modelling, visualization, analytics).
Proven experience in manipulating data sets.
Attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines.
Background in project management.
Very good understanding of data visualization best practices and essential graph theory.
Good understanding of PowerBI or any other visualization software (Looker, Tableau).
Knowledge of BigQuery, an asset.
Knowledge of the DAX language, an asset.
Knowledge of the various Web analytics measurement tools and media platforms (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics,
Experience in the use of databases and SQL language, an asset.
A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
Experience in an Agile environment (Scrum, Kanban).
Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
Highly motivated to work in an open team environment, demonstrating a collaborative approach, continuous improvement and innovation.
Bilingual (French and English).
