The mission of the Analytics Department is to provide the business with actionable and accurate information to enable data-driven decision-making.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As a member of the Data & Analytics Department supporting the eCommerce division, you will be part of the team that bridges the gap between business strategy and data to successfully enhance customers experience online and drive revenue growth. As the Manager, eCommerce Analytics, you will combine your deep understanding of our eCommerce landscape, with your passion for data and masterful website analytics skills to uncover opportunities that will enable Aritzia to deliver world class every day luxury shopping experiences online. THE ROLE
As the Manager, eCommerce Analytics, you will:
- Define measurement strategies to quantify the performance of various eCommerce initiatives and compare their current condition against a hindsight benchmark
- Generate actionable insights by analyzing online customer behavior, through diagnostics, correlations, and hypothesis testing throughout the customer journey to grow the business and enhance the customer experience
- Support in building out our advanced analytics capability to predict optimal outcomes, leveraging predictive modelling techniques (churn, cross sell, lifetime value, geospatial etc.)
- Visualize and communicate analyses to the business, including building scalable and insightful reports and dashboards, enabling reliable self-service analytics, and synthesizing and presenting findings at all levels of the department
THE QUALIFICATIONS
The Manager, eComm Analytics has:

- The skills to set clear objectives with an emphasis on accountability while striving to reach your highest potential
- Proven skills, education, and/or applicable certifications in:
- Website analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)
- Tracking infrastructure (Google Tag Manager, Tealium, etc.)
- SQL
- Visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI)
- Python, R or related statistical analysis tools
- STEM Degree (e.g. Business Analytics, Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Psychology, Mathematics or Statistics)
- Experience in eCommerce analytics (or similar analytics domain)
- A commitment to quality and investing in results that add value to the business
- A sense of urgency and ability to prioritize important work
- An understanding and a passion for the industry in which we operate
