**Jayce LLP is a full-service CPA and advisory firm that provides accounting, audit, tax, and advisory services to enterprises across Canada.**
We are located in Markham ON.
We are looking to add a professional Remote - bookkeeper (part-time) to join our Markham Office.
**As a team, Bookkeeper’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to**:
- Review and record financial transactions accurately
- Input transactions into the correct ledger
- Reconcile bank and other accounts
- Complete required tax forms (HST and payroll compliance)
- Update and maintain accounting journals. Provide accounting and clerical assistance to the accountant.
- Other accounting duties as required
**Required Qualifications & Skills**:
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- About to work independently and as a team
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, punctuality, and work habits
- Bilingual - Chinese and English ( an asset )
**Education And Experience Requirements**
- 1 year of bookkeeping experience preferred
- Degree/Diploma in business administration, accounting, finance, or relevant field preferred
- Proficient with Excel, QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, Wave accounting, and Xero.
- Excellent communication and math skills
- Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping principles
