Started in 2022, we aspired to create an online Canadian go-to source for high-quality nail supplies straight from Korea. In less than a year we have grown to serve nail artists all over North America.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software, preferably QuickBooks.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High degree of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Flexibility to work part-time hours as needed.
- Must be legally able to work and reside in Canada
- Computer skills

**Responsibilities**:

- Record financial transactions accurately and timely using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger accounts.
- Handle data entry for invoices and bills
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare and send invoices to customers.
- Follow up on outstanding invoices and resolve billing issues.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures.
- Generate financial reports (e.g., income statements, balance sheets) as needed.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial information and support decision-making processes
- Prepare government remittances for payroll, HST, EHT and WSIB

**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in ecommerce or retail industry is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of related experience
- Solid working knowledge of accounting and payroll procedure
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and willingness to learn new processes.
- Experience in ecommerce or retail industry is a plus.
- Strong excel skills

**Job Types**: Part-time and Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20-25 hours per week

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Work Location: Hybrid (mainly remote but come in person if needed)
