**BOOKKEEPER**

**Position Summary**:
We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of our company.
**What you will be doing**:
- Manage all accounting and financial operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll and financial reporting
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
- Support accounts by verifying, allocating and posting transactions
- Complete tax forms
- Manage the processing and payment of all company expenses approved by management
- Handle confidential materials and documents
- Enter data, maintain records and create reports and financial statements
- Perform other bookkeeping duties as required
**Education and Experience**:
- BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
- Previous bookkeeping experience (minimum 2-3 years) within a small to medium sized business
- Experience with Spire an asset
**What you bring to the table**:
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable/receivable principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Advanced skills with MS Excel, along with an aptitude for numbers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in English and in MS Office
- High level of discretion and interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential documentation
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry
- Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines
