Since 2008, McGill St Laurent has coordinated physical commodity supply chains and offered customized financial solutions to customers in the wood, agriculture and energy sectors. In 2022, we founded McGill St Laurent Climate Solutions to support companies in decarbonizing their operations. We participate in the development of carbon projects, aggregate high-quality carbon credits and offer efficient, customized climate solutions to our customers.

The team is expanding, and we are looking for a Business Development Specialist to help the team engage with new prospects and grow the book of business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Identify and actively engage potential customers, highlighting the benefits of our offering.
- Prepare tailored sales materials that highlight the added value of McGill St Laurent's services to prospects.
- Play an active role in preparing and delivering presentations to prospective clients, convincingly demonstrating how our solutions can meet their specific needs.
- Prepare contracts, assist in trade execution, and ensure effective post-sales support.

**Requirements**:

- Due to the territories covered by the job, you must be fluent in English and French (Essential)
- You have the ability and desire to travel for customers visits/events from time to time.
- You have good commercial acumen and an entrepreneurial spirit.
- You pay exceptional attention to detail.
- You have previous work experience in business development, sales or marketing

L'équipe s'agrandit et nous sommes à la recherche d'un spécialiste en développement des affaires pour aider l'équipe à entrer en contact avec de nouveaux clients potentiels et à accroître les opportunités d'affaires.

**Responsabilités**:

- Identifier et engager activement les clients potentiels, en mettant en évidence les avantages de notre offre de service.
- Préparer des matériels de vente sur mesure qui mettent en évidence la valeur ajoutée des services de McGill St Laurent pour les clients potentiels.
- Jouer un rôle actif dans la préparation et la réalisation de présentations aux clients, en démontrant de manière convaincante comment nos solutions peuvent répondre à leurs besoins spécifiques.
- Préparer les contrats, aider à l'exécution des transactions et assurer un soutien après-vente efficace.

- En raison des territoires couverts par le poste, vous devez parler couramment l'anglais et le français (essentiel).
- Vous avez la capacité et le désir de voyager de temps à autre pour visiter des clients ou participer à des événements.
- Vous avez un bon sens des affaires et un esprit d'entreprise.
- Vous accordez une attention exceptionnelle aux détails.
- Vous avez une expérience professionnelle préalable en matière de développement commercial, de la vente ou du marketing.
