**Job Summary**

**Main Responsibilities**
- Monitor process performance and analysis of messages in the data
- Analyze specific topic areas (especially around business rules)
- Elicit and translate business requirements into process and solution requirements; liaison between business and implementation teams
- Express business requirements in user stories
- Ensuring that the Product Backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all, and shows what the teams will work on next
- Work closely with business partners and key IT groups (Architecture, Design, Change Management, Quality Assurance, Delivery, Project Management, etc.) to ensure successful project delivery
- Shape the requirement phase based on client dependencies and scope
- Create and validate the current and future-state processes with business partners
- Map business processes and roles to activities
- Analyze processes to identify business opportunities
- Organize and facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings, mindful of the impact of organizational change
- Analyze, synthesize, document, translate and communicate business information to technical teams and vice versa
- Elicit and document business requirements from internal and external partners (User Stories, Use Case, Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTMs), Workflow Diagrams, Responsible, Accountable, Consulting, Informed Matrix (RACI), etc.)
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders (Business, OT, IT, Customers, etc.)
- Analyze, clarify and prioritize project requirements
- Analyze requirements relationships (Affinity Diagrams, Fishbone, Feasibility Analysis, etc.)
- Manage requirements throughout the life of the project
- Maintain requirements changes traceability
- Apply, and ensure compliance with, all CN IT standards (Security, Architecture, Project Delivery Methodology, SOX, etc.)
- Understand the solution gaps and communicate the impacts to the business

**Working Conditions**

The Specialist may be required to travel occasionally in North America.

**Requirements**:
**Education/Certification/Designation**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

**Skills/Knowledge**
- Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to travel occasionally in Canada and in the United States

**Experience**
- 10+ years industry experience in Business Analyst and process focused environment
- Experience working with Lean Six Sigma and Agile methodologies
- Demonstrated success working with business and engineering teams to plan, develop, refine, and launch successful solution deliveries / products
- Experienced with process mapping
