**About Our Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Project Executive, Early Years Transformation, the Planning, Performance, and Accountability Analyst works within the Early Years Transformation Branch. The Analyst is responsible for compiling information, developing and writing Early Years Strategies and Action Plans, and for external and internal accountability reporting based on set timelines

This role supports from start to finish a variety of projects in relation to strategic initiatives. To achieve success, working collaboratively in a project team environment is required. Close collaboration is expected with project team members, the early learning and child care operations branch, and various external partners.

**Primary Accountabilities**:
As the Planning, Performance and Accountability Analyst, you will:

- Provide leadership and act as the principal writer in the development of system strategy documents, action plans, standards, key performance indicators, and associated reporting requirements;
- Collaborate with workstream and project leads to plan and develop briefing materials, cabinet submissions, corporate documents, and presentations on behalf of the branch, in close collaboration with the policy and operations teams;
- Oversee and manage the organization and reporting of data, trends, and strategic performance in collaboration with team members responsible for overall systems modernization and IT system development to efficiently improve administrative and system operations;
- Identify, advise and support the implementation of process improvements in relation to reporting and data requirements, agreement management, and strategy/action plan development;
- Support, coordinate, develop and maintain strategic partnerships and relationships critical to projects or early years system transformation success, as required;
- Conduct jurisdictional research and provide in-depth analysis, as required;
- Support and coordinate FOIPOP requests, as required;
- Support the monitoring, planning and delivery of Early Years Projects, as required.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Have the desire to seek and organize information and data to inform and innovate system performance and operations, consistently looking at ways to problem solve and measure and improve performance, showing drive and determination to meet strategic goals. They must focus on discovering and understanding system needs, striving to ensure strategic plans are created collaboratively with all those affected;
- Have experience creating, analyzing, and synthesizing reports and dashboards from complex, disorganized data to inform system strategy and planning. As well as possess problem-solving and judgement skills to evaluate various options to recommend and implement process improvement solutions;
- Be a highly organized thinker who can thrive in making sense out of complex, disordered, and high-risk/impact work. Ideally, you are able to multi-task and are a self-starter who is highly motivated and results-driven, with integrity and the ability to work with mínimal supervision;
- Have demonstrated a commitment to diversity and inclusion throughout your career and, within this role, will actively promote and encourage the importance of teams, people, partnerships, and culture in all aspects of the work;
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office programs (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Sharepoint, Teams etc.);
- Knowledge and understanding of Early Learning and Child Care and Bilingualism (English and French) are considered assets for this role.
