**Job Scope**:
The Employer Services Analyst manages the collection, processing, validation, analysis, and reconciliation of member data for the Public Service Superannuation Plan (PSSP) and the Teachers’ Pension Plan (TPP). As a member of the Employer Services Team, the Analyst provides guidance to participating employers to ensure data is captured and recorded accurately through the review and analysis of validation reports. Member and employer-matched pension contributions are reconciled, and anomalies investigated. The Analyst supports client-facing teams through in-depth analysis of member data and performing pensionable service and contribution calculations with varying degrees of complexity.

**Responsibilities**:

- Uploads employer pension data files into the pension administration system; generates and reviews validation reports to ensure accuracy.
- Investigates variances in pension contributions, communicates with employers to resolve.
- Provides support to employers concerning plan rules and the delivery of timely and accurate pension data files.
- Analyzes member data to ensure accurate pension information is provided to clients, in respect of service standards.
- Performs administrative work as needed to support client mailouts and returned mail.
- Performs quality control activities to ensure accurate member information is processed.
- Supports annual functions, including member statement production and valuation extract testing.

**Qualifications**:

- High school completion plus 5 years related experience, or an acceptable equivalent. Post-secondary education in office/business technology, finance or accounting programs is preferred.
- Related experience may include the collection, quality control and processing of data, and investigation to resolve discrepancies.
- Previous experience in group benefits administration, insurance or payroll may apply.
- Working knowledge and experience with office software systems is an asset, i.e. SAP, ADP, Ceridian.
- Intermediate competency with Microsoft Excel is required, including the proven ability to work with large files requiring formatting, sorting, formulas, etc.
- Excellent analytical skills, including mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Must be self-directed and demonstrate initiative and an ability to work well under pressure.

**Job Status**: Permanent (Full-time), unionized (NSGEU)

**Work Arrangement**:On-site working model with flexibility to offer limited work from home hours

**Work Schedule**: Monday - Friday; 37.5-hour work week with one earned day off (EDO) every 3 weeks

**Salary Range**: $1982.09 to $2268.64 (bi-weekly)
