**Huntington Properties - Receptionist/Administrative Assistant**
Huntington Properties is a well-established, Ottawa based, multi-faceted real-estate development and management Company with expertise in all sectors of commercial and residential real estate and a focus on acquiring, developing and managing real-estate assets.
We are a dynamic and tight-knit Real Estate Team looking for a **Full Time Receptionist/Administrative Assistant **to support and elevate the success of the business by coordinating office communication and administration. This position is a full-time role and will provide support to the Office Management team.
This position envisions a forward-facing, customer service role with administrative duties as follows:
- Greet clients and visitors to the office with a friendly disposition. Maintain good office presentation and support.
- Responsible for all daily administrative duties to ensure the Head Office is functioning efficiently and all staff have the necessary office materials and services to function effectively.
- Provide administrative support to all Huntington team members as required, including lease administration support and development/construction administration support.
- Opening of and distribution of mail and faxes.
- Assist with printing, scanning, faxing, mailing, couriering, including the chargeback and invoicing of these costs.
- Maintain physical and digital filing, storage rooms, and oversee annual archiving of records.
- Ensure meeting rooms, kitchen, and other common areas are kept tidy and equipped.
- Maintain stock of all office supplies.
- Deposit cheques using remote-deposit capture and post cash receipts.
- Assist property administrator(s) with producing and sending statements on all overdue accounts.
- Assist with property administrative tasks and support with special projects, as required.
- Acting as liaison between tenants and property management team, as required.
- Oversee booking calendar and manage meeting rooms.
- Maintain policy procedure manual.
You are energetic with a strong work ethic and lively personality and are willing to rise to a challenge in helping to communicate and interact with tenants, clients and external persons and stakeholders.

- Excellent customer service.

- Ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic office environment.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Professional approach to interacting with people.
- Previous experience and knowledge working with Microsoft Word, Outlook & Excel.
**Employment type**: Full-time (8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday)
**Compensation**: $40,000 to $45,000 per annum. Extended Health & Dental care. Onsite parking.
