- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the hygiene department
- Ensure compliance with all dental regulations and protocols
- Hire temp hygienists when needed
- Monitor schedule to ensure that a Doctor is available for all exams in advance
- Develop and implement hygiene protocols and procedures
- Train and supervise dental hygienists and assistants
- Monitor patient schedules to ensure efficient workflow
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment
- Handle patient complaints or concerns in a professional manner
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology related to dentistry
- Experience with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software
- Familiarity with pediatric/ basic dentistry, implant dentistry and orthodontics
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

**Salary**: From $23.00 per hour
