**Job Title: Inventory and Operations Support Specialist**
**About Comu Networks**:
**Scope of Work**:
We have an immediate need for a full time position located in Hamilton, Ontario.
**Responsibilities**:
- Maintain criteria for items on replenishment and special-order
- Regular review of replenishment items and creation of recommended Purchase Orders
- Ensure inventory levels are accurate
- Creation of new sku’s and item details and descriptions
- Execution of cost and retail price management
- Communicate and follow up with vendors to maintain accurate ETA dates
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments on shipment and invoice discrepancies
- Communicate with Freight Forwarders and Customs Broker to move and clear product
- Maintain manual and electronic filing systems.
- Assist in helping to reduce the material spend and supporting the business in the delivery of financial objectives.
- Analyzing supplier quotations. Negotiating price and product availability.
- Follow Purchasing Policy including spend authorization levels.
- Establish and maintain computerized bring-forward and project tracking systems;
- Company fleet management
- Additional tasks as assigned by Management
- Ensure overall office upkeep and maintenance
- Receive phone calls and visitors and respond to queries
**Experience and Education**:
- Post-secondary education in office administration, business or a related field
- QuickBooks experience
- Proficiency in MS Office (Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Accounting skills - accounts payable, receivable
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid drivers license with a clean record
