**The Centre for Entertainment Arts is looking for an Education Assistant to join their team**

**Who Are You?**

**A Day in the Life**
- Work closely with students, providing personalized instruction and reinforcing concepts presented by Instructors in a one-on-one or small group setting.
- Foster an environment of positive behavior and respect by enforcing school and classroom rules and teaching proper conduct to students.
- Play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping, such as attendance tracking and grade calculation, to support the academic success of students.
- Assist teachers in preparing for class by setting up equipment and getting materials ready, ensuring that the classroom environment is conducive to learning.
- Serve as a liaison between students and Instructors, providing support both in and outside of the classroom, and creating a collaborative learning environment.
- Gain valuable experience by leading laboratory sessions and helping students gain hands-on experience in the field.
- Play an important role in ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment by supervising students during class, between classes, and on field trips.
- Contribute to the overall success of the school by helping with various tasks as needed, providing opportunities to develop new skills and expand your knowledge.
- Be prepared for a range of tasks and responsibilities assigned by your Program Chair, providing a diverse and dynamic work environment.

**What You Bring**
- Proven experience working with and instructing students is advantageous, with the ability to provide guidance, support, and constructive feedback.
- Possesses critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt and respond to changing situations in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Strategic thinker with experience using MS Office and social media platforms.
- Professional and versatile written and verbal communication skills to work effectively with key stakeholders.
- Exceptional time management and organizational abilities to manage competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to project a professional and positive image while maintaining discretion and confidentiality.

**Your Perks & Benefits**
- Base compensation ($32,000), or pro rata salary for the number of hours worked if less than full time.

**Salary**: $32,000.00 per year
