**Transdev Canada is hiring a Human Resources Manager based in Cloverdale, Surrey**

As a Human Resources Manager at Transdev Canada, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the day-to-day HR operations, ensuring employee well-being, organizational efficiency, and compliance with employment regulations. This position requires strong leadership, a focus on optimizing HR processes, and fostering a positive workplace culture that supports both our team and business objectives.

**Your role**
- Conducts investigation meetings as required and makes recommendations on findings. Compiles and maintains investigation files. Writes follow up correspondence including letters of expectation and discipline letters.
- Oversees the grievance resolution process. Attends grievance meetings and makes recommendations on outcome. Tracks grievances to ensure timelines are adhered to.
- Responsible for the Attendance Management Program including meeting employes, generating letters, tracking medical notes, and monitoring employee progress.
- Compiles various HR lists, including but not limited to the Seniority list, Leave of Absence list, Driver Abstract License expiry list, etc.
- Be the point of contact for collective agreement interpretation and provides advice to all stakeholders as required.
- Supports the collective bargaining and arbitration processes. Compiles files and conducts research as required.
- Manages the employee accommodation process, including identifying opportunities for accommodations, conducting meetings, working with external third parties, and ensuring compliance with appropriate legislation.
- Supports regional programs for employee management.
- Performs other related duties as required.

**Your profile**
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of HR management experience.
- Experience working in a unionized environment.
- Strong knowledge in all areas of employment legislation including the Workers’ Compensation Act, OH&S Regulations, Human Rights Regulations, Privacy legislation, Labour Relations Code, and Employment Standards legislation.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to meet challenges with resourcefulness, generate suggestions for improving work, and develop innovative approaches and ideas.
- Strong attention to detail and timelines.
- Willing to work under tight deadlines and maintain exceptional judgement and discretion regarding sensitive matters.
- Must be able to handle confidential and sensitive information and work with the highest standards of integrity.
- Willing to travel between HandyDART facilities (within Surrey & metro Vancouver region) required.

**Your location**
- Salary: $105,000 - $120,000
