RWAM is looking for a highly motivated individual with strong leadership, organizational and analytical skills to join our Group Insurance Team to partner in success The Group Underwriting Manager will be responsible for day-to-day management of all Group Underwriting functions and staff. They will also oversee the ongoing development, training and motivation of their staff, and act as a resource for the RWAM Management Team.

In this role you will:

- Manage customer service standards, profitability objectives, relationships with other departments and the implementation and documentation of updated underwriting practices and guidelines
- Provide the necessary leadership to actively establish the strategic planning process, set and attain department objectives and support the key initiatives / corporate direction of RWAM
- Actively participate when required, in providing underwriting case management decisions, trouble shooting, pricing and analysis
- Act as liaison with insurance partners and develop / maintain industry contacts
- Coordinate staff scheduling and workflow

For this role you need:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate
- Minimum 5 - 10 years of qualified group underwriting experience
- Demonstrated ability to effectively identify and implement changes
- Strong background with Microsoft Office and other software packages
