As a Learning & Development Coordinator, your work will have a big impact with our Operational Performance Learning and Development department, especially the Underwriter Academy program. People will count on you to coordinate and support the delivery of training including prioritizing requests, managing logistics and measuring results.

This is a full-time permanent position ideally based in either Vancouver, Calgary, or Toronto. We operate in a hybrid model, meaning you’ll be in the office a minimum of two days per week and have flexibility to work remotely (if you choose) for the remainder of the week.

Here are a few ways you'll make a difference:

- Support the administration of our learning management systems including enrolments, course uploads, reporting and trouble shooting.
- Coordinate scheduling, booking and other support functions for training events.
- Assist with coordination of the evaluation of the program and the learners with respect to various data points as well as feedback collection and collation.
- Assist in event planning for in-person training events, including room booking, food ordering, schedule creation, travel assistance, etc.
- Support team administrative functions including inbox monitoring, meetings, process improvements, certification requirements.
- Coordinate the marketing and sharing of training materials and schedules.
- Create new materials and presentations for use by learners, managers and success partners.
- Assist with additional projects run by the wider L&D team.
- Additional tasks as required and assigned by your manager.

What you will bring:

- Post secondary education preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills required, including ability to work well remotely with a team based across Canada.
- Experience coordinating projects and working with multiple priorities.
- Previous L&D experience desirable, including experience administrating a learning management system (LMS).
- Previous work in administration and dealing with various demands from multiple stakeholders.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency level with Microsoft Office suite.
- Microsoft SharePoint admin experience would be an asset.
- Excellent written communication, listening and organizational skills.
- Adaptable with a problem solving, “can do” attitude.

**What we offer**

Working here means you'll be empowered to be and do your best every day. Here is some of what you can expect as a permanent member of our team:

- A financial rewards program that recognizes your success
- An industry leading Employee Share Purchase Plan; we match 50% of net shares purchased
- An extensive flex pension and benefits package, with access to virtual healthcare
- Flexible work arrangements
- Possibility to purchase up to 5 extra days off per year
- An annual wellness account that promotes an active and healthy lifestyle
- Access to tools and resources to support physical and mental health, embracing change and connecting with colleagues
- A dynamic workplace learning ecosystem complete with learning journeys, interactive online content, and inspiring programs
- Inclusive employee-led networks to educate, inspire, amplify voices, build relationships and provide development opportunities
- Inspiring leaders and colleagues who will lift you up and help you grow
- A Community Impact program, because what you care about is a part of what makes you different. And how you contribute to your community should be just as unique.

**We are an equal opportunity employer**

At Intact, we value diversity and strive to create an inclusive, accessible workplace where all individuals feel valued, respected, and heard.
