**Administrator - Systems**
As a System Administrator you are responsible for assessing, directing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex enterprise solutions around System support. This position reports to the Manager, IT Infrastructure and Operations and can be based remotely in Canada.
**Here is what a typical day looks like**
- Administers and maintains Azure and AWS Infrastructure as a service (IaaS) and is knowledgeable on the AWS and Azure Platforms as a service (PaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), Azure AD, and other AWS and Azure service offerings
- Serve as a specialist with on-premise compute and storage infrastructure, including Cisco FlexPods and NetApp storage systems
- Stay current on Azure, M365 and AWS features, capabilities, and services across multiple geographies
- Implements and supports availability, reliability, performance, monitoring, backup, security, and disaster recovery plans
- Supports corporate policies, procedures, and best practices pertinent to supporting Windows servers. Linux knowledge is also an asset.
- Administers and maintains end user accounts, permissions, and access rights, as needed
- Building strong internal relationships within the business across multiple departments to ensure their technology needs are being met
**The value you bring**
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Experience working with Cisco UCS and FlexPods.
- Experience working with NetApp OnTap, SnapMirror, Cohesity and SnapVault.
- Experience working with Azure and AWS.
- Experience with Azure Governance, Stack, Blueprint and Policy.
- Experience with Cloud Identity Services such as SAML, B2B and B2C
- Experience with server virtualization using VMware and Nutanix
- Computer Science Degree or Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience (3+ years)
- Experience working with Intune, Arc, Azure Update Manager
**The following certifications are required**
- ITIL 4 Foundation
- Microsoft 365 Fundamentals
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator
- Microsoft Identify and Access Administrator Associate certification
- Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals certification
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty
- MCSE: Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
