**Backwoods Energy is seeking a Highly Experienced Processor Operator in the Edmonton, AB or Edson, AB surrounding areas.**

**Wage**:$38.00 - $41.00 / Hour

**Living Out Allowance**: $150 / Shift (if eligible)

**Shifts**:12+ Hours, 10/4 Rotation

**The Role**:
Backwoods Operators will be expected to perform on-site, labour-based activities when not operating equipment. Versatility, flexibility and a positive attitude are required in this position. The position entails travelling to different job sites sometimes for extended periods of time. It also requires each team member to work well with others in a safe and efficient manner and understands the importance of quality and good communication.
- Cutting tree length
- Cut to length/saw logs
- Working in soft ground conditions
- Servicing and maintaining equipment

**What We're Looking For**:

- Experience in logging equipment (asset)
- Able to work efficiently and effectively as part of a team
- Positive and safety conscious attitude
- Service equipment and perform routine maintenance
- Assistance in loading/unloading equipment at different work locations
- Capable of working in a safety focused team environment
- Reliable and have a strong work ethic
- Able to work overtime and weekends - shift work and travel required
- Able to work well individually or as a team & follow instruction effectively
- Experienced and competent and able to pass a competency assessment

**Training and Certifications Required**:

- Class 5 driver’s licence and ability to provide a clean driver’s abstract (required)
- Standard First Aid with CPR (required)
- CSTS 2020 (required)
- Ground Disturbance Level II (required)
- H2S Alive (required)
