**Your Opportunity**:
The primary responsibilities of this position include:

- Act as a support point of contact for Visitor Service Representatives
- Assist visitors with navigation of the Park Pass reservation system
- Troubleshoot Park Pass issues and share with Supervisor
- Follow proper cash handling procedures (calculate charges, receive payments, balance cash) where applicable
- Assist with the coordination or logistics of events happening throughout the parks
- Communicate and collaborate with the Recreation Programs and Events departments to coordinate logistics, locations, and special requests.
- Responsible for opening and closing buildings
- Work in accordance with the Conservation Halton’s Safety Policies & Procedures and the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and all other related manuals such as Covid-19 PPE protocols.
- Other duties as assigned

**Your Qualifications**:

- 3 years of customer service experience preferred
- Previous supervisory experience is considered an asset
- Knowledge of proper cash handling procedures is considered an asset
- Interest in tourism, hospitality, parks and recreation is considered an asset
- Knowledge of Conservation Halton/Glen Eden programs and services or willingness to learn
- Strong communication, public relations, organization, and time management skills
- Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and experience with Point-of-Sale systems
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment; adapting to the daily challenges associated with the operation of an outdoor operation
- Able to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced and challenging environment
- Ability to work flexible shifts with varying hours, depending on factors such as weather and visitation levels
- Able to lift up to 20 pounds, stand, and walk for long periods of time
