**What you’ll do**

As the Manager, Digital PR and Communications on the Corporate Communications Team, you will support the execution of the corporate communications strategy with a focus on creating and implementing digital PR strategies, campaigns, and tools to increase Charitable Impact’s online brand visibility across channels. At Charitable Impact, we want to make it easy for people to come together and change the world. As such, creating opportunities for people to learn and engage with charitable giving is one of the main areas of focus for all our public-facing communications - this includes content, events, media relations and influencer marketing. You will create content that is shareable and will build relationships with media and influencers while continuously finding ways to enhance the brand’s presence and reach. You are a creative thinker who loves storytelling; you are detail-oriented and ultra-organized.

**This position is a 12-month temporary contract with possibility of extension.
**We are a hybrid office, with team members working from home and in our Vancouver office. This role is remote eligible and requires availability during the Pacific Standard Time Zone business hours.**

**Your responsibilities**
- Support the execution of effective external communication strategies
- Develop and executive effective digital strategies to support Charitable Impact’s goals and objectives
- Establish relations with media, influencers and other stakeholders
- Monitor external news coverage and develop proactive strategies in response
- Develop content such as press releases, media advisories, feature stories, and other traditional and digital materials
- Analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies and provide reports
- Manage relationships with external vendors, including our PR agency
- Develop and maintain relationships with key media contacts, influencers, and other stakeholders
- Identify and implement new opportunities to engage with target audiences
- Monitor and engage in online conversations and trends
- Stay-up-to-date with digital communications technology and trends, and use them to enhance the brand’s presence and reach
- Monitor industry trends to ensure Charitable Impact’s external communications are up to date
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure the successful execution of campaigns.

**What we're looking for**
- Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, public relations and communications
- A proven track record of developing and implementing successful strategic public relations and communications plans
- Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills - ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different channels
- Attention to detail and organization, with strong project planning and execution skills
- A confident relationship builder
- Media relations awareness and knowledge of the media ecosystem
- Ability to work autonomously on multiple projects simultaneously while effectively prioritizing and hitting deadlines
- Experience with developing digital campaigns to drive engagement and increase brand awareness
- Knowledge and experience with media relations and influencer marketing
- Previous experience in working with senior executives in fast-paced environments and the ability to act with diplomacy and tact
- High energy and enthusiasm

**Compensation**
- The expected starting salary range for this role is $75,000 - $85,000/year.
