**ABOUT THE ROLE**

We are looking for a Production Manager oversee our day-to-day manufacturing operations to ensure we meet customer demand while ensuring world class safety and quality.

Work is performed in a typical manufacturing environment with exposure to several elements continuously present including heat, dirt, grease, oils, fluids and noise.

**WHAT YOU'LL DO**
- Ensure employee safety and adherence to safety policies and procedures.
- Establish a Zero Incidents Period (ZIP) safety culture.
- Directly supervise and mentor Team Leaders
- Meet customer satisfaction goals via on time delivery and exceptional quality performance.
- Identify, quantify and communicate staffing constraints to Plant Manager/HR Manager
- Ensure all assets are attaining capacity goals.
- Track production to ensure standard rates are met on a shift basis.
- Ensure inventory processes are being followed and are accurate each day.
- Initiate, participate, and promote the EDIS and Safety programs.
- Drive for performance and sustainability in accordance with quality and productivity goals.
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.
- Understand and perform to the BN Quality Policy taking pride in the products produced.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

**WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED**

Job Qualification Profile:

- Bachelor's of Science in Manufacturing Operations or Engineering (Industrial/Manufacturing) or a bachelor’s degree plus relevant experience.
- 3 to 5 years of leadership experience in a heavy manufacturing environment (metals machining, fabrication, etc.)
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment with a strong quality system required.
- Bi-Lingual (Spanish) a plus

Key Attributes:

- Demonstrated ability to manage daily/weekly production tasks such as issues relating to maintenance, staffing, scheduling, and shop floor safety.
- Demonstrated career growth in terms of number of direct reports and complexity of handling staffing, scheduling and safety matters.
- Demonstrated experience related to the manufacturing processes of metal forming, heat treating, machining, and grinding.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills Strong understanding of manufacturing quality systems.
- Demonstrated track record of being results driving while managing multiple priorities.
- Must be an individual with the highest ethical standards who is a strong communicator capable of motivating and leading individuals to perform at their best.

Pay: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
