SaskEnergy is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our team. The Analyst, Health & Safety provides various research, analysis and reporting support to the department as well as all areas of the Corporation assisting in the achievement of health and safety objectives.

Position Details- Union - This position is permanent full time.

Core Responsibilities

Health and Safety Analysis and Administration- Report, analyze and interpret safety performance indicators and internal benchmarks.- Compile and analyze daily incident reports and prepare a variety of monthly, quarterly and annual safety reports.- Consult with various outside agencies, businesses and departments (e.g., Canadian Gas Association) to benchmark corporate safety statistics.- Assess Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) of incoming incident and hazard reports to verify accuracy of information and follow-up with reporting area, if needed, to ensure safety and health compliance.- Process required updates to the Corporate Safety Manual and associated documents.- Maintain the health and safety information and statistics on the corporate internal website.- Research and analyze safety statistics to determine behavioral trends, and to develop and occasionally deliver safety programs to employees.- Plan and coordinate specific health and safety studies.- Provide timely responses to employee health and safety suggestions, requests, concerns and administrative requests including the Contractor Safety Orientation.

Internal Customer Support- Coordinate annual Safety Stand Up Week activities.- Support the Occupational Health Committee activities by coordinating meetings, completing meeting minutes and completing assigned activities.- Provide statistical information to customers within and outside the corporation, ensuring adherence to privacy and confidentiality guidelines.- Investigate, evaluate and assist in the purchase of safety related materials and promotional supplies.- Provide health and safety information to employees.

Incident Reporting System Administration- Administer and maintain the corporate incident reporting system.- Provide training and ongoing system support to operational end-users.- Review system patch notes and provide recommendations as to whether system upgrades are required.

Other- Provide analytical and technical support for the Health & Safety department.- Participate in internal marketing and implementation of best practice safety and health initiatives.- Research, evaluate and provide input for improvements to corporate health and safety programs, plans and processes.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Two (2) years’ experience working in the field of occupational health and safety.
- Two (2) years’ experience working with data processing and analysis.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
