**We have an exciting opportunity for a Network Analyst in Regina, SK.**

In this position, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring infrastructure related to the delivery of video services, with a special focus on QAM, IPTV, and ABR technologies. You will collaborate with other team members to develop and maintain new and existing software solutions. You will be an integral part of the team, making every problem of the platform a problem of your own, and solving them accordingly.

**Main Duties**:

- Design, implement, and maintain QAM and IPTV video delivery systems
- Maintain and troubleshoot video encoding and transcoding systems (MPEG-2, H.264, HEVC, ABR)
- Manage DAC6000 system operation
- Test and implement Passport Guide against community of DCX STBs
- Manage Video on Demand (VOD) services
- Ensure high availability and redundancy of video platforms - Implement system backup and disaster recovery for video platforms
- Research, test, analyze, and advise on system upgrades, enhancements, and changes in technology or best practices in QAM, IPTV, and ABR video delivery systems
- Demonstrated expertise in Linux system administration with a focus on configuring, optimizing, and securing environments for video delivery systems
- Proficient in SQL database management with a focus on optimizing and integrating databases within video delivery systems
- Work closely with video service providers to optimize video distribution
- Monitor video quality and provide technical support for video delivery issues
- Trade certification or degree in areas specific to QAM video engineering, IPTV, ABR, or related video delivery technologies
- 5+ years’ experience in a video delivery technical role
- Strong background in video delivery technologies, including QAM, IPTV, and ABR
- In-depth knowledge of video encoding/transcoding (MPEG-2, H.264, HEVC)
- Experience with video service providers and video streaming optimization
- Familiarity with video monitoring and analytics tools
- Experience with SCTE standards is a plus
- Knowledge of networking protocols and systems relevant to video delivery (e.g., multicast, IGMP) is a plus
- Class 5 Drivers License
- Clear Criminal Record Check
