**JOB TITLE**:Summer Student - Business Services

**LOCATION**:Brantford, ON

Grand Erie District School Board represents more than 27,000 students in 58 elementary schools and 14 secondary schools within the City of Brantford and the counties of Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk, as well as students from Six Nations of the Grand River First Nation and Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. With a dedicated staff of more than 2,900, Grand Erie is committed to learning, leading and inspiring. The head office is located in Brantford.

**Responsibilities**:
Under the direction of the office of the Supervisor of Business Services, the student will work with the Business Services team to provide support to the accounting department. The incumbent will gain experience in the various stages of processing invoices for payment, assist with bank and account reconciliations and provide occasional relief at reception.

**Qualifications**:

- College or University student currently enrolled in Business Administration or Accounting required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work as a team and independently.
- Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

- 35 hours per week (Monday-Friday)**Rate of Pay**
- $16.55 per hour plus 4% vacation pay**Effective Date**
- May 1, 2024 - August 31, 2024-
