**_About your next_**_ Challenge_**_ as an _**_Associate Manager, Operations Management_**_:_**
- You will work closely with Program Manager to direct, manage, organize, prioritize and lead a group of employees dedicated to operations. You will coordinate efforts of specialists from within your team and will be a key member responsible for the overall delivery of the CH-147F MHLH (Medium to Heavy Lift Helicopter) Support & Test Equipment (STE) Services in Service Support contract - which may include oversight and support of other project deliverables. You will promote the values of L3 within your work teams to promote a professional culture and ensure care of Tool Control and STE maintenance. You will ensure that teams work in accordance with Boeing as well as Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) aircraft technicians, aviation procedures, policies and regulations. Due to RCAF operational tempo, you will be managing priorities of your personnel on a daily basis and working closely with Boeing point of contacts._

What will you do:_**
- Essential Functions:_
- _ Represent operations at various meetings, establishing and maintaining professional relations with the program team and with various clients and stakeholders to identify challenges, limitations, constraints and risks while providing operational solutions to complex problems. Manage emergencies and work on contingencies to minimize operational impacts; _
- _In close consultation with Program Manager, work to continuously Improve Operational Structure and Efficiencies, and through training and oversight ensure adherence to policy and procedures. Close collaboration with Buyers, QA, PRAA (Person Responsible for Assigning Authority), Program Manager, and Operation Manager to ensure Airworthiness, Training, Currency, Projects, and Customer Satisfaction Key Performance Indicators are met or exceeded._
- Health Security:_
- _ Carry out weekly and monthly inspections and follow-up on corrective actions;_
- _ Prepare and participate in EH&S committee meetings and follow up actions;_
- _ Complete accident / incident reports;_
- _ Assist L3Harris auditors during their visits and follow-up on actions._
- Quality:_
- _ Respond and document corrective action requests (CARs);_
- _ Create and update departmental procedures and ensure employees follow them;_
- _ Participate and encourage employees to propose continuous improvement initiatives;_
- _ Follow up on improvement measures;_
- _ Promote the RISE program._
- Operations:_
- _ Establish and communicate the priorities of the day;_
- _ Track completion of STE maintenance with help from the maintenance planner;_
- _ Ensure RCAF Tool Control System procedures are adhered to and corrective actions are taken to address non-conformities with help from tool control coordinator;_
- _ Facilitate daily team meetings;_
- _ Approve timesheets;_
- _ Plan and coordinate training requirements;_
- _ Represent operations during daily meetings, teleconferences, etc;_
- _ Manage overtime required on a daily basis;_
- _ Approve travel requests and expense accounts;_
- _ Coordinate computer problems with IT department directly in Mirabel, Quebec._

Required Skills and Experiences:_**
- _ College or undergraduate degree in a relevant field of competence, such as engineering, mechanics or aeronautics;_
- _ Minimum of 5 years experience in operations management;_
- _ Experience in team supervision;_
- _ Ability to make decisions quickly and take action;_
- _ Customer-oriented and results oriented while adopting a "win-win" approach;_
- _ Ability to inspire employees and collaborators in a positive manner;_
- _ Good oral and written communication skills in both languages (French and English), an asset;_
- _ Sense of work organization and priority management;_
- _ Knowledge of labor relations;_
- _ Knowledge of laws and policies related to the environment, health and safety at work._

Eligibility Criteria (mandatory)_**_:_**
- _ Must be eligible for registration _with_ the _**_Controlled Goods Program_**_;_
- _ Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada _**_“Reliability”_**_ status and _**_Level 2 (Secret)_**_ security clearance;_
- _ Must be eligible to meet the requirements for _**_U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR);_**:
